The cows in front of Kings College Chapel have donned Santa hats to get into the spirit of Christmas.

Now to start panning and painting for July 2015
I am really excited to be taking part in the Thou Art Skint tent at Strawberry Fair. A whole tent full of artworks by local artists and all under £50. I shall be displaying my mini canvases and some of my prints of Cambridge. See you there
My studio is full of new paintings ready to show at Cambridge Open Studios this July, although some still need mounting or framing. New this year are lots of decorative trees, a night and day painting I have wanted to make for some time and some lovely silk paintings of fantasy landscapes
My studio will l be open for three weekends in July from 11am - 6pm
July 12 -13, July 19 - 20 and July 26 - 27
I shall be showing some of the work by my students so if you would like to join a class, come and see what the magnificent paintings, mono-prints, silk scarves and clay work they have made over the past year
You can pick up an Open Studios guide from shops, galleries, museums and libraries.
There will be 3 brand new paintings of mine plus some unframed original mono-prints at this fabulous art show in the lovely village of Clavering
My 3 paintings are:
All Things Bright and Beautiful: a whimsical view of Cambridge with a brass band playing in front of St Peters Church. The band have brought along a picnic and some reading matter and one member has even brought his dog! The brass instruments are copper and silver leaf that shine as you move and the church sits on a hill.
The other two paintings are part of a series of mystical and mythical trees. The copper leaf glints in the moonlit night sky as the trees flower profusely with odd flowers and fruits.
Three Cambridge artists, Maureen Mace, Alison Litherland and Neil Warmsley joined together for an exhibition at Michaelhouse in Cambridge to celebrate the local spaces of the city they live and work in. Theirs is a very gentle, quiet, almost surreal city.
