The Friend's School are holding a wonderful exhibition where local artists will be displaying new work. I shall be showing two new oil paintings, small but intricately detailed, at a special price to help raise funds for the school.
Painted on a rich blue sky background with a full moon, the stylized branches are made of copper metal leaf with masses of individually painted leaves laden with flowers and fruit. Reminiscent of William Morris but also evoking the exquisite backgrounds of medieval art.
As part of their animal theme, the curiosity Gallery in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, are now showing a few of my prints featuring the Cows of Cambridge including Balancing Cows. There is also a selection of handmade cards based on the same theme.
Painter living in Cambridge. Mixes fantasy and realism and loves medieval art and it's detail. An avid sketcher.
