After missing the Private View of the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries in London, I was determined to see the exhibition before it closed and it was really lovely going with my husband and daughter.
The standard of artworks was really high and the exhibition was beautifully hung and I was chuffed to see my painting hanging below one of my favourite artists who also loves colour plus zany weird creatures. The exhibition was really busy and people took a long time seeking out their favourites. As I watched, I was delighted to see so many people take a photograph of my work, I almost wanted to go up and ask if they would like to photograph the artists with her work.
So pleased to be there and realise that yes, people (well not all of them) like my work and that it is not overshadowed by other other artists.
Gave me a huge boost. Thank you to the organisers and to everyone who visited.
Painter living in Cambridge. Mixes fantasy and realism and loves medieval art and it's detail. An avid sketcher.
