So what do you think of when you imagine your home town?

This painting is my own personal view of Cambridge and some of the people, events, ideas and history that stand out.

It all started when I made a list of what I thought Cambridge meant to me, the list is so long I can make several paintings from it but that was in the future. Many people will recognize Kings College and DNA but why a plate of cakes and an insect?
