I would have liked to be a children's book illustrator but never really got round to it. I love the quirky illustrations in those publications. I did a lot of children's illustrations at art college and one of my lovely fellow students at Wolverhampton, Colin West, has had a great career with his witty poems.
I love cows. My grandad introduced them to me at his farm and I was delighted to see them roam free on the commons when I moved to Cambridge. I made a 3D patchwork cow with a friend and here she is again jumping over our beautiful planet Earth. So not 'the cow jumped over the moon' although I did add a tiny one orbiting our home.
The painting is framed in a floating white 'tray frame and the actual size including the frame is 27 x 27 cms.
