This is one of the most wonderful commissions I have had. I exhibited a half finished painting of two young bulls wearing crowns skating on the river Cam in summer showing off to two heifers in a field. I asked my visitors how I should proceed with this painting and suddenly I had a commission to paint a Cambridge scene.
